Rozalynn GoodwinRozalynn works as Director of Policy Research and a lobbyist for the South Carolina Hospital Association (SCHA). Prior to joining SCHA, Rozalynn worked in strategic planning and system development with Palmetto Health and in health and human services policy research in the Office of former South Carolina Governor Jim Hodges.

A native of Mt. Carmel, South Carolina, Rozalynn holds a bachelor’s degree in Health Care Management from Lander University and a Master of Health  Administration from the University of South Carolina.

She is the founder of The Motherhood Priority, a non-profit organization working to strengthen mother-friendly policies in the workplace, a 2004 graduate of Leadership Columbia, and board member of the South Carolina Campaign to Prevent Teen Pregnancy.

A fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives, Rozalynn serves as an elder at her church, Right Direction Christian Center, and was recognized in 2009 as a Midlands rising business leader in The State Newspaper’s annual "20 Under 40" Feature. A gifted writer and speaker, Rozalynn is a Family Ties columnist for TheState.com and blogger for Disruptive Women in Health Care and Working Mother Media.

Rozalynn and her husband Mike have a daughter and a son.
